ATC member named as new GALA Chair

The Association of Translation Companies (ATC) is celebrating the appointment of Jesper Sandberg, the founder and executive chairman of Sandberg Translation Partners Ltd (STP), as the new chair of the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA).

This year, there has already been significant debate around the need to accelerate gender parity. Having worked in the language service industry for more than three decades I have witnessed a significant increase in the number of female owned Language Service Providers (LSPs), with the proportion of female directors now significantly higher than in many other professional services. 

Two leading members of the Association of Translation Companies have been invited to speak at the forthcoming EUATC conference from 20-21 April in Berlin.

ATC annual conference - call for papers

The Association of Translation Companies (ATC) has launched a call for papers for the 2017 Language Industry Summit. 

The founder of a Bristol based translation company was a guest speaker at last week’s EU Association of Translation Companies conference. 

TTC wetranslate has enjoyed a takeaway with a difference after its subsidiary, Bedford Translations, was asked to support the hit TV show Saturday Night Takeaway, featuring household stars, Ant and Dec.
