Implementing GDPR at an LSP
Feedback on ATC’s GDPR webinar series for LSPs:
“Lots of excellent and relevant food for thought.”
“Very interesting and very well explained.”
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaces the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC on 25 May 2018. It is designed to harmonise data privacy laws across Europe, to protect EU citizens’ data privacy and to reshape the way organisations approach data privacy.
This ATC series of webinars is specifically tailored to LSPs who want to understand their obligations under this stricter regulation.
There is a vast amount of information and guidance on implementing GDPR to be found online, but LSPs across the world are wondering how exactly to ensure GDPR implementation within our data-heavy environment.
This three-part webinar series will focus on the basics of implementing GDPR within the core topics of how to handle freelancer data past and present, how to approach marketing and recruitment, and, crucially, how to approach any personal data within content for translation as well as data repositories such as translation memories.
The webinars are:
1. What is Personal Data/where might it be/how do we spot it – Tuesday 27th February 3pm-4pm (GMT)
2. Point of entry and retention within language service providers – Tuesday 6th March 3pm-4pm (GMT)
3. Points of exit, breaches and deletion – Tuesday 20th March 3pm-4pm (GMT)
The pricing structure is as follows:
