Commercial collaboration between language service companies is an integral part of our industry.
The ATC’s Stand Out – Be Outstanding Competition introduces new supplier companies to ATC members, forges new collaborations, and showcases the language service companies that provide constant support to their industry partners.
The Stand Out – Be Outstanding Competition is a fantastic opportunity to promote your services, and meet potential new partners!
Who can enter the competition?
The competition is open to both ATC member companies and non-member companies across the UK and the world:
- Single language service company
(company providing translation, interpreting or other language services into one specialist language) - Regional language service company
(company providing translation, interpreting or other language services into a group of related or regional languages) - Specialist language service company
(company providing other language services, for example, multilingual DTP, quality assurance, project management, vendor management)
How does the competition work?
During April and May 2022, language service companies providing single, regional and specialist language services to ATC members are invited to submit their entry to the Stand Out – Be Outstanding Competition: a short video and a short description of the company and its services, the company’s logo and contact details.
The ATC’s Stand Out – Be Outstanding web page showcases all competition entries for the entire year, until next year’s competition, for ATC members and the ATC’s global audience to find and reach out to you. The website profiles go live in early April 2022, and regular emails and social media posts introduce the companies participating in the competition throughout April, May and June 2022.
The Stand Out – Be Outstanding Competition is open free of charge to ATC member companies. Entry to non-member companies carries at £150 fee payable at registration.
Enter The Competition
The Competition entry you submit will not be judged, but the ATC is opening up a completely new Language Industry Award category: Supplier of the Year. This category is open to all ATC member companies, and all non-member companies participating in the Stand Out – Be Outstanding Competition. The Awards open for nominations in in July 2022, and culminate in a Gala Awards Dinner on 21 September 2022 in London.
