NEW! ATC Guide to Building New Commercial Collaborations
We’re excited to share with you the all-new ATC Member Guide to Building New Commercial Collaborations. Working with material from our From Networks to Net Worth event in 2025, we developed a pack to help lead you through the process of forming your own Commercial Collaborations with a range of potential partners. The guide provides step-by-step guidance on how to do this, building upon successful commercial collaboration case studies from ATC members. And of course, If you need any support with your planning, get in touch with me directly at ccl@atc.org.uk to discuss the possibilities!
International Trade Week Session
ATC CEO Raisa McNab and CCL Sarah Bawa Mason contributed to the Business Academy International Trade week with an updated session of the immensely successful “Say it just right: the importance of translation!” developed for exporters by the ATC. More than 80 representatives of client-side companies signed up to the session, spreading the message on the ATC as the go to partner of choice for language services in the UK.
UKEA Transforms into Business Academy
UK Export Academy has transformed into the Business Academy, a wider offering of support and training for entire business growth journeys, not just selling overseas, although that remains a core focus. Over 30,000 businesses are already members, and what’s best, the ATC’s partnership continues with the Business Academy uninterrupted with 2026 webinars already in the calendar. Join prospective clients and boost your own business, it’s totally free!
Expanding Commercial Collaborations with Trade Association Forum
We are building upon the contacts forged at the Trade Association Forum’s (TAF) Best Practice Exchange, in September 2025. This event is the UK’s leading trade association conference with 300 trade association executives present, offering great opportunities for us to identify potential Trade and Commercial Collaboration partners for future endeavours. In the past months we have directly approached more than 60 of the most interesting TAF members, offering to help them develop guidance for their members on using language services for business, building on the ATC’s role as an authoritative voice on language services in the UK landscape.
Language Services Guidance for Conference Organisers
With the help of Julia Danmeri of TranslateAble and Eric Bauwelink of Mastervoice, we have developed a new language resource for our collaborators at ABPCO, the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers. The new flyer gives recommendations on how to scope out language service resources to guarantee appropriate levels of language interpreting and accessibility provision at a vast range of events, positioning ATC members as authoritative partners in the provision of language services for conferences and meetings.
Showcase your expertise to ministers and officials
The Department for Business and Trade is looking to compile a list of standout companies interested in hosting government ministers, international delegations, and other similar visits. As a member of CBI, the Confederation of British Industry, ATC members can apply to showcase their innovation, talent and impact, whilst raising their profile with senior decisionmakers and international stakeholders.
If you’d like to be considered, please get in touch with me directly at ccl@atc.org.uk!
