EMPOWER Translate, a Bristol-based agency specialising in market research translations, has presented its inaugural Linguist of the Year awards for 2019 to a handful of freelance language suppliers.

The awards, consisting of Linguist of the Year and New Linguist of the Year, recognise outstanding service, collaboration and contribution to the agency’s success by EMPOWER-registered freelance translators, interpreters, editors and teams.

“It’s essential in this industry to celebrate openly the unique partnership between linguists and project managers,” commented Toby Partington, Head of Production at EMPOWER Translate. “In addition to day-to-day communications, we’re delighted to now have a truly special way to recognise linguist partners that consistently go above and beyond in exceptional ways.”
