The ATC’s public sector news puts you in the picture of what’s new, noteworthy and…

To celebrate the ATC’s 50th anniversary as trade association and community of language service companies, we invite you to join us for a series of networking events across the UK this spring. Taking place in London, Rochdale, Leamington Spa and Chepstow, these get-togethers are planned as community-building, peer sharing, trendsetting events based on the concept of ‘resilience in tough times’ to get 2026 rolling big time.
In true ATC style, these events are a collaborative effort, created by language service companies, for language service companies – open to ATC members and non-members alike.
Each event is focused on a different topic that plays to the strengths and expertise of the organisers and their speakers, but all the events will provide ample time for general networking and discussion of shared experiences. So go to just your local one, or plan a UK tour!
London
Join Cathy Branson of The Translation People, and Susie Hoare and Anu Carnegie-Brown of STP for a lively look at AI in localisation from three different angles: clients, company processes and the staff skills gap. Expect tales of triumph and tips for teamwork without a trace of tiring tech wizardry!
Rochdale
Helen Provart of Peak Translations, Gabriela Lemoine of Accentus Language Services, and Louise Killeen of LKT invite you to an interactive peer-support session that will focus on two themes: marketing on a budget, and how to talk to your people.
Leamington Spa
Join James Brown and his colleagues at Comtec for an informative session on fostering client relationships. In a panel session and discussion, they will share their experience on how to engage genuinely and communicate thoughtfully with your clients. This will be followed by a practical session on how to use social media to grow your personal profile and brand voice.
Chepstow
Join Ruth Partington and her team at Empower Translate who will be discussing the impact of language services today vs tomorrow, including the challenges and the opportunities people are seeing and what strides people are taking to adapt (or not) for success.
Whether you just go to just your local one, or plan a UK tour, we’d love to see you there! Click below to see all dates and venues, and to book your ticket.
