AI Skills Hub by DSIT
The AI Skills Hub is a directory of learning materials to help UK organisations and individuals to build their AI skills, created by the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology (DSIT) and Skills England. It enables businesses and individuals to master AI fundamentals quickly, identify sector-specific opportunities, and deploy solutions that drive real results.
AI Skills Boost Courses
Created within the AI Skills Hub, the AI Skills Boost Courses offer a catalogue of 14 free courses to build your foundational AI skills. The courses have been tailored for people working in SMEs. Whether it’s prompting, responsible AI use, or interacting with AI agents, the courses offer a comprehensive set of AI skills for the workplace.
AI Skills for Business Competency Framework
Created by The Alan Turing Institute in collaboration with DSIT and Innovate UK BridgeAI programme, the AI Skills for Business Competency Framework aims to increase the number and diversity of employees across the UK with access to relevant, high-quality AI training. The framework identifies the knowledge, skills and personal aptitudes and behaviours required to navigate practical challenges and exhibit competency of AI Citizens, AI Workers, AI Professionals, and AI Leaders.
Business Academy AI for Marketing
The Department for Business & Trade’s Business Academy offers hands-on, on-demand and live training on leveraging the power of AI in increasing your business’ visibility and reach for marketing and sales.
Understanding AI & Risk via ISO Standards
Increasingly, AI conversations with clients focus on understanding, managing, and mitigating the risks associated with the safe and secure use of AI for sensitive business content. A whole host of ISO standards for AI is emerging to respond to a changing legislative and regulatory landscape. The ATC’s ISO Expert Carina Balbo is closely involved in scoping out how these standards impact LSCs.
Reclaim 4.0 AI Upskilling Course for LSCs
Reclaim 4.0 is the AI Upskilling course built for language service companies, delivered by the ATC’s partner Magic Beans Agency. Starting on 17 April, the 10-week course enables companies to build company-wide AI strategy, implement AI tools in production workflows, sell AI-enabled services to clients, evaluate AI quality and manage risk, use AI for sales, marketing and operations, and upskill entire teams from production to sales.
