ATC Language Industry Summit 2019
The Language Industry Summit 2019 is set to be a Summit like no other, that sets the event apart from other industry conferences. As well as innovative master classes held during the summit, the spectacular line up of speakers will make this conference appealing to language industry professionals over the globe.
We are thrilled to confirm that we have secured a spectacular new venue for the 2019 Summit. The Old Royal Naval College is the architectural centrepiece of Maritime Greenwich, a World Heritage Site, London, described by UNESCO as being of “outstanding universal value” and reckoned to be the “finest and most dramatically sited architectural and landscape ensemble in the British Isles”.
We warmly welcome you to join us for a once-in-lifetime chance to soak in the history at the Greenwich Old Royal Naval College followed by an exclusive gala dinner aboard the iconic Cutty Sark, the world’s sole surviving tea clipper.
More details to follow in the new year but for now be sure to save the date – Thursday 19 to Friday 20 September 2019. What an amazing, historical venue to debate the trends and topics that affect us all.
Call for papers
We are now calling for papers and speakers for Summit 2019. This year’s Small Business Focus means we are looking for topics of relevance to smaller businesses, as well as those with implications for the whole language industry. Topics you may consider presenting could include:
- M&A through a smaller LSPs point of view
- SMEs setting up shop overseas
- How to make the most of UK government grants
