ATC’s Council will decamp to Leeds on 26 February 2019, hosted by thebigword at their brand new training centre. You are cordially invited to join us there to find out the latest on safeguarding your existing EU staff through Brexit and to find out how the ATC will be lobbying on your behalf to secure future immigration of translators and interpreters into the UK.
ATC’s Chief Executive Raisa McNab will kick the topic off by outlining the likely immigration scenario affecting LSPs recruiting from outside of the UK, post-Brexit, and how the ATC is looking to get the best deal for our industry.
Other highlights of the day will include immigration lawyer Louis MacWilliam’s overview on how Brexit will affect EU nationals currently in the UK, and how LSPs can safeguard their current staff through these changes.
Simultaneously, Raisa McNab will host a Brexit round table discussion on the direction and channels ATC Brexit immigration lobbying should take, engaging ATC members in a joint battle.
