After the Civic Reception, our local ATC member company hosts, the wonderful team at My Language Connection will introduce us to some of their favourite things to do of an evening in Glasgow.

Open Mic & Live Music at Berlinky’s
Head to Berlinky’s from 20.30 onwards, where we will have the Lanterns semi-private area reserved for ATC Gold guests. Settle in for an informal evening of drinks, conversation, and live music, including Berlinky’s Open Mic night.
Drinks, Nibbles & Bowling at VEGA
Prefer something a little more relaxed? Join us at VEGA from 20.30 onwards for casual drinks and nibbles in a semi-private space. Bowling is optional can either be booked on the evening, subject to availability, or pre-booked in advance by emailing vega@yotel.com. When pre-booking, please quote that you are entitled to the Convention Bureau discount via the ATC Conference. ATC Gold guests receive an exclusive 50% discount on bowling – just £5.50 per person.
Both options are informal, so simply choose the one that suits you and enjoy the chance to continue conversations and catch up with fellow delegates after the Civic Reception.

ATC Language Industry Awards Gala Dinner
22 October 2026 at 19.00-24.00
The ATC Language Industry Awards and three-course Gala Dinner takes place in the evening of Thursday 22 October 2026 at the main ATC Gold conference venue, in the Grand Room, at the voco Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow.
The dinner and awards will be followed by an authentic Scottish ceilidh with Deoch ‘N’ Dorus band and a disco, so bring your dancing shoes!
Dress code: Smart evening/cocktail, wear gold!

ScotRail offers discounted train travel to ATC Gold delegates. The Conference Rover gives you unlimited travel across the city centre, £5 for 5 days. You can also benefit from discounted advance travel across Scotland for any tickets purchased over the conference dates: up to 50% discount on most ScotRail Anytime Single and Day Returns during or after the conference. To buy your discounted ticket, visit a ScotRail ticket office and show your delegate pass or email confirmation. You can use your discounted ticket once your conference has finished but you must purchase the ticket during the period that your Conference Rover ticket is valid for.
