ATC Awarded John Syke’s Memorial Prize for Excellence by ITI

The ATC is absolutely delighted to share that it has been selected as the winner of this year’s John Syke’s Memorial Prize for Excellence by the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.

This ITI award is presented for outstanding achievement in translation or interpreting over a long period. The award recognises the ATC’s work on behalf of and in support of language service companies and the wider language services industry, including the ATC’s recent focus on commercial collaborations and other activities to promote the value of language services.

The award was presented at ITI’s 40th anniversary dinner at EX:CHANGE 2026 in Milton Keynes on 1 July 2026.

Promoting the value of language services sits at the heart of the ATC’s work, so this a award is a wonderful recognition of all the work that goes on behind the scenes. As the leading voice for companies operating in the UK’s language services industry, the ATC is part of a strategic network that encompasses  all the stakeholders of the language services industry. We will continue to build this network, collaborate closely with our partners, and use our collective voice to advocate for the value of language services.
