Who are you and what do you do?
I’m André Köhler, the founder and Managing Director of lingo systems, based in Leipzig, Germany. We specialise in the development and integration of applications for the language industry.
What emerging key trends do you see?
From our point of view, a key trend in the industry is the constantly growing need to use modern technology to automate workflows, to innovate services, and to improve quality and speed of localization processes.
Based on our experience and know-how, we are able to support companies in areas like extending and integrating translation business management systems such as Plunet, XTRF and WorldServer, developing, customising and maintaining individual TBMS solutions, developing connectors to content management systems, product information systems, ERP systems, integration of CAT tools and MT components, as well as creating web portals and APIs in order to improve processes between buyer and vendor.
