This ATC business support round-up collates information and resources from across the UK Government, curated for the needs of SME language service companies.

Language service companies support every single other sector’s internationalisation and export activities. But language services are also an important part of the UK’s business services landscape in their own right.

A recent report by The Business Services Association in collaboration with the Department for Business and Trade highlights the importance of the business services sector to the UK’s economy. Over a third of the total turnover of the UK’s non-financial business can be attributed to the business services sector, and translation and interpreting have been recognised as key opportunities for the business services sector to grow overseas.
