We love LSPs

“We love LSPs.” That is the slogan for the ATC’s new Technology Partner lingo systems , whose team provides technology and consulting services for language service providers.

“I guess you could call lingo systems an integrations company,” says Managing Director André Köhler. “We have a deep understanding of the language services market, and help our clients resolve real-world problems around language technology.”

From MT implementation to translation management systems, and from customer and freelancer portal development to integration of third-party applications, lingo systems is completely technology agnostic.

“Our focus is on providing neutral advice on technologies independent of product providers. We work with you to develop or help you choose the best technology for your company, and we find solutions for even the most complex challenges,” confirms lingo systems’ Sales Manager Steffen Garnich.

Solidly established in their home market in Germany, lingo systems is looking forward to connecting with the ATC’s member companies. The ATC’s CEO Raisa McNab welcomes the new partnership, “These are services and solutions that simply make a lot of sense for language service companies looking to develop new integrations or find the best technology solutions in a rapidly developing market.”

A recent white paper by lingo systems analyses business processes and IT systems at language service companies. “LSPs have invested heavily in technologies to optimise and automate their workflows in order to stay competitive in the market,” says André Köhler. “However, many LSPs still face such investment decisions. They are wondering which investments – at which points in their value creation chain – really make sense and will contribute to success in the long run. The technological possibilities seem endless, but the means and also the time available are limited.”

In the white paper, lingo systems takes a bird’s-eye view of value creation at an LSP and shows how the system landscape available today can help optimise value creation. For LSPs, this perspective provides new food for thought and should help them to prioritise sustainable, long-term solutions that benefit customers, employees and partners alike when making optimisation and investment decisions.
