ATC Welcomes Tech Partner voxANN

The ATC is delighted to introduce new Technology Partner voxANN, a Manchester-based technology business creating cloud-based production software for multilingual dialogue audio. Founded by a team who spent years producing multilingual audio content, voxANN aims to break down barriers to localised media production, making workflows faster, more efficient, and less repetitive.

voxANN’s product, Align, runs automated quality assurance (QA) on multilingual audio for voice recording and transcription workflows. Align checks and matches recorded dialogue against the target script flagging missing content, errors and amended phrases. For voice recordings, alternative takes are highlighted for quick auditioning, and a first-pass edit strips out false starts, fluffed lines and non-script audio. For transcriptions, differences between the transcript and the original audio are detected and highlighted immediately.

voxANN’s Co-Founder Dave Bilsborough is excited about introducing Align to the ATC’s member companies: “Align is built with accessibility in mind. It requires no advanced audio skills and no fluency in the target language, so project managers, operations teams, linguists and content producers can verify multilingual deliverables themselves, rather than waiting on third-party review. With Align, manual QA time can be cut by up to 50%.”

ATC CEO Raisa McNab welcomes the addition of voxANN’s multilingual audio production software to the association’s Technology Partners’ offering: “Language service companies are rapidly diversifying and looking for partners to help scale up their service offering.
