The ATC are delighted to announce the appointment of three new Council Members. Ben Ablett from Cintra Language Services Group, Sarah Radford from Global Lingo and Susan Hoare from STP are joining the ATC Council, with a wealth of business and language services experience. Their expertise brings the ATC Council much appreciated knowledge across the public sector, commercial arena and the charity and non-profit sectors.
Ben Ablett has 13 years in relationship management and sales roles for some of the world’s largest financial institutions and today heads Cintra’s sales and marketing team. Although relatively new to the language industry, Ben has rapidly adopted Cintra’s determination for driving development and raising the standards in the industry.
Sarah Radford is the current Operations Director of Global Lingo, and is passionate about helping to drive the growth and progression of the language services industry, an industry she has grown up in. She has a particular interest in facilitating and promoting language learning and advocating greater consistency within the industry. Sarah has successfully implemented, developed and managed quality management and information security systems.
Susan Hoare has over a decade’s experience in project management, production management and operations management at Sandberg Translation Partners (STP). Susan has spent 12 years on the board of trustees for a national medical charity and has a strong understanding of managing the needs of stakeholders and members in accordance with the organisation’s objectives.
The ATC Council is entirely run by volunteers, and we are fortunate to have a highly professional, talented and hard-working team who influence and steer the direction of the ATC. As we welcome Ben, Sarah and Susan to the ATC, we also extend a heartfelt thank you to the years of dedication and expertise the three outgoing Council Members have given to the ATC.
Paul Stewart from Wessex Translations, Isabella Moore from Comtec and Levent Yildizgoren from ttc wetranslate have been invaluable to the development of the ATC, and the Council will miss their wisdom and determination.
Please join us in toasting for the outgoing Council Members and welcoming the three new Members who undoubtedly will bring fresh perspectives and invaluable insight to the Council.
